The protection of your personal data is of great importance to us. This privacy statement describes in a clear and transparent manner how Felinova comm. V takes measures to optimally protect your data and what rights you have as a customer. Felinova Comm.V. complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the SME portfolio regulation.
This means that, in any case, we:
Process your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which they were provided; these purposes and types of personal data are described in this privacy statement
Limit the processing of your personal data to only those data that are minimally necessary for the purposes for which they are processed
Ask for your explicit consent if we need it for the processing of your personal data
Have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data
Do not pass on personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were provided
Are aware of your rights regarding your personal data, want to point them out to you and respect them.
Article 3: Purposes of Processing Personal Data.
The customer's personal data is collected for the following purposes:
- To provide the services and/or products offered by Felinova Comm. V and to draw up the necessary documents for this (invoices, cooperation agreements, certificates, attendance lists).
- To inform about Felinova Comm. V, its services and its products through newsletters, by sending an email with the various offers that might interest the customer. This only happens if the customer has explicitly agreed.
- To handle complaints, suggestions, communications and questions.
- To pass on information to third parties if required by laws and regulations. This is only done based on a vital interest, in collaboration with a subcontractor or at the request of the person concerned.
Article 4: Retention of Customer Personal Data
For the purposes mentioned above, we may request, collect and process the following personal data from you.
When purchasing products and services:
Personal identification data: name, first name, address, telephone number, email
Company data (if applicable)
Delivery address (if applicable)
SME portfolio data (if applicable)
Interests regarding our products and services
Specific services: home consultation or telephone consultation
To prepare for a consultation, Felinova Comm. V asks you to fill out a personal questionnaire. This contains the following information:
Personal identification data: name, first name, address, telephone number, email, General data: living and family situation, contact details of the treating veterinarian and necessary information about the reason for the consultation.
Interests regarding our products and services
Depending on the nature of the consultation, Felinova Comm. V prepares a client report. This is kept internally for follow-up.
We only use the collected data for the purposes for which we obtained the data.
Article 5: Disclosure to Third Parties
Felinova Comm. V to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes described above.
Third parties with whom Felinova collaborates are:
Independent employees of Felinova Comm V.
Guest lecturers of the Felinova Academy
Warehouse and postal companies, if a product needs to be shipped.
With these parties (processors), we naturally make the necessary arrangements to ensure the security of your personal data.
Furthermore, we will not pass on the data provided by you to third parties, unless this is legally required and permitted.
We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us (written) permission to do so (e.g., when transmitting information to your veterinarian).
Article 6: Data Retention Period
Felinova Comm. V does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or required by law.
Accounting documents are kept for seven years, starting from the first of January of the year following the financial year.
Personal data is kept for a maximum of five years.
Cases from consultations are kept for training purposes for life. All personal data is deleted and names are changed.
Article 7: Rights Regarding the Collection and Storage of Your Data
You have the right at all times to:
View the collected data (in accordance with Article 15 GDPR)
Make corrections (in accordance with Article 16 GDPR)
Have data deleted (in accordance with Article 17 GDPR)
Restriction of processing (in accordance with Article 18 GDPR)
Data portability (in accordance with Article 20 GDPR)
Right to object (in accordance with Article 21 GDPR)
Article 8: Complaints
If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us directly about this. You always have the right to submit a complaint to the Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection.
Article 9: Security of Your Data
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, for example, we have taken the following measures;

We use a username and password on all our systems
We make backup copies of personal data to restore them in case of physical or technical incidents.
